Sheila is a Licensed Professional Counselor; Approved Clinical Supervisor; and Practice Owner that specializes in trauma. She has been working with trauma since 2014.  As of November 2019, Sheila received her Approved Clinical Supervisor certification through the Center for Credentialing and Education, Inc. Therefore, allowing her to supervise Licensed Associate Counselors (L.A.C’s) within the State of New Jersey.  Sheila completed her EMDRIA approved EMDR basic training April 2021 through the Personal Transformation Institute, and pursued her certification thereafter. Then in April of 2022 she became certified in EMDR. All of her EMDR training has been through the lens of S.A.F.E approach to EMDR.

Her professional achievements are only a part of her identity. She also identifies as being first generation Ecuadorian-American; female; spouse; daughter; and a parent to two children.
