There are various forms of abuse such as psychological, physical, verbal, economic abuse, and others. Sheila Reinoso, LPC, ACS has 7 years of non-profit work experience counseling survivors of domestic violence from all socioeconomic classes.   • Do not let cost of any counseling services including ours be a barrier to you and your pathways of healing. In most New Jersey counties there is a non-profit that may provide either or both individual/group counseling services focused on domestic violence at no cost to you. Google the name of your county in New Jersey and Domestic violence non-profit.

Aquired Brain Injury

Sheila Reinoso, LPC, ACS has 3 years of work experience providing care to individuals with traumatic brain injuries (TBI) from mild to severe in a residential facility setting. Traumatic Brain Injuries too often come with a feeling of loss of Independence that goes unaddressed. There is a list of priorities that are generated by family members, caregivers, and health care proxy; and mental health needs of the individual with the acquired brain injury can fall towards the bottom of that list. Sexual Violence

Sexual Violence is an all encompassing term that is used to refer to the following types of acts such as: sexual assault, child sexual abuse, intimate partner sexual violence, incest, sexual assault of men and boys, and drug-facilitated sexual assault. Sexual Violence is never the victim's fault, ever. When experiencing these symptoms or traumatic events, you may feel a variety of physical symptoms, behave differently and experience more intense emotions. Sheila Reinoso, LPC, ACS has years of non-profit work experience counseling patients suffering from anxiety, depression and counseling individuals experiencing traumatic life crises.

Traumatic events can be life-threatening, such as combat, a natural disaster, a car accident, or a sexual assault which can trigger re-experiencing symptoms and are often times the event may be more individualized. There are many stigmas surrounding the idea of seeking out help for PTSD, and for that we are here to help you!
