How would you describe your therapeutic style in three words?
Accepting: I am not here to judge you, instead I am here to meet you where you are, regardless of where you come from or who you are.
Calm: Sometimes all you need is a listening ear, and I am here to provide that.
Integrative: I pull from different modalities to suit your needs. Therapy is not a one size fits all.
How do you collaborate with clients to set goals and measure progress in therapy?
It is important for the client to have their input on what they would like to achieve in this therapeutic process. Collaborative effort not only ensures what can be worked on during sessions but allows the client to have autonomy in their therapeutic journey. First, we will collaborate on a treatment plan where you can set goals on what you would like to accomplish in therapy. Then once a month, do check ins on how you feel you are progressing on goals and then adjust as necessary. It is important that you feel that you are a part of this process just as much as I am.
What is your comfort movie/TV show that you can watch over and over again?
Since Korean dramas are what got me into learning Korean as a second language, I would have to say either “It’s Okay, That’s Love” or “Castaway Diva” are great comfort shows that I can watch over again.
What is your most used emoji?
My most used emoji is 🤣. I am always laughing at something.
