Ashley is a Licensed Associate Counselor with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Caldwell University, where she completed a specialization in Art Therapy. Her clinical experience includes working with individuals across the lifespan in individual, group, and family settings. Ashley has supported clients navigating challenges related to ADHD, anxiety, aphasia, depression, domestic violence, and trauma.
Her therapeutic approach is rooted in a client-centered, humanistic framework and guided by cultural humility. She prioritizes building a collaborative relationship where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered.
Before becoming a counselor, Ashley earned a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts and spent several years working as an educator. Her background in the arts and education continues to inform her creative and flexible approach to therapy.
Ashley believes that therapy works best when clients have an active voice in their healing process. She creates a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore their experiences, build resilience, and take meaningful steps toward change. Her sessions often incorporate creative expression, mindfulness, and evidence-based strategies tailored to each individual.

Share a little about your personal interests or hobbies outside of therapy
I value work-life balance and dedicate time to self-care and personal interests, which help me stay grounded and energized. I enjoy
-
Spending quality time with my dog, friends, and family
-
Reading (especially mysteries and romance novels)
-
Exploring new art media to match my mood
-
Staying active through yoga, cycling classes, and hiking
-
Tending to my growing collection of houseplants
What do you hope clients will take away from their experience working with you?
My goal is for clients to leave therapy feeling empowered to use their own strengths to meet life’s challenges. Together, we’ll build a personalized toolbox of skills and strategies, but I honor that clients are the ones doing the hard work and deserve credit for their growth.
What is your favorite Ice Cream flavor or dessert?
I have a sweet tooth and love a good treat with her coffee. My current favorite? Ben & Jerry’s non-dairy Phish Food.
